When you create an account we collect your name, email address, company name, and role. For Logistics Service Provider (LSP) accounts we also collect business registration details, service capabilities, and banking information for invoicing purposes.

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, and device information.
2.3 Logistics Data
You may upload or enter shipment data, rate cards, invoices, and other freight-related information. This data is processed to provide our core services.

We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Trizel platform
- Process rate card submissions and approval workflows
- Facilitate invoice processing and validation
- Enable rate comparison and freight analytics
- Send notifications about approvals, assignments, and system updates

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Between platform participants: Rate cards and shipment data are shared between shippers and their assigned LSPs as part of normal platform operations.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (Supabase, Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and analytics. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the Sydney, Australia region. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security policies, and role-based access controls. Banking details are stored in encrypted format.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Logistics data (shipments, invoices, rate cards) is retained in accordance with Australian tax and commercial record keeping requirements (generally 7 years). You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
